My Coats Pension – status update (April 2023)

We regret that we are still unable to provide a timeframe for a replacement for the members-only website, My Coats Pension.

When the former site was taken offline, this was intended to be temporary and members were advised as such. Since that time, there have been various factors affecting the development of a replacement site; in particular the complexity of the different requirements for the various former pension schemes administered by the Coats UK Pension Scheme, as well as the need to ensure compatibility with the forthcoming Pensions Dashboard Programme.

Pensions Dashboards are intended to allow people to see their retirement savings from all sources at a glance, and, as you may know, the timeline for the introduction of Pensions Dashboards has been reset (or delayed) by the DWP. Our developers are awaiting further information on the specifics of the Pensions Dashboard Programme. Once that is available, we need to prioritise the launch of the Pensions Dashboard (which is a legal requirement) and, thereafter, ensure that any replacement site is compliant with the Pensions Dashboard Programme.

We recognise that this update will come as a disappointment. Please be assured that we will advise you of any progress when we have more information.

If the service is still unavailable when any essential communications (P60s, etc) are issued, they will be posted out to you. Printed payslips are normally only sent to pensioners whose monthly pension, after tax, changes by more than £5.00.
